Description
Once again, Terry Clothier Thompson combines her passion for historical quilts with her talent for recreating those quilts with today’s fabrics and time saving sewing methods. This time her inspiration comes from a collection of vintage c. 1900-1930 photographs from the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, in Spingdale, Arkansas…wonderful images of people posing for the camera with their special quilt as a frame.
From these photos, Terry has recreated six vintage quilts with reproduction fabric and modern sewing techniques for contemporary quilters. Five pieced and one appliqued, these quilts were family treasures, worthy of being preserved with a photograph. Come inside and see “Quilts Through the Camera’s Eye.”
