Description
Sitting among the great Chicago museums on the shore of Lake Michigan, Shedd Aquarium is full of wonderful and fascinating aquatic animals. Among the many species living there are a beloved flock of penguins–including two rockhoppers, Edward and Annie. While the facility was closed to guests during America’s COVID-19 quarantine, the caretakers invited this penguin pair and some feathered friends on several stimulating guests and observing the other aquarium residents.
This fictional tale is based on Annie and Edward’s real-life tours of the aquarium. What might we imagine that penguins make of these outings? And what if Annie noticed something was different?
Differences can be exciting!
And surprising!
And sometimes a little scary.
Come alongside Edward and Annie and their kind caretaker to meet some of the other amazing Shedd residents and discover what makes each of them special. Will Annie learn that different is not too bad, especially when you’re safe among your friends?
